What travelers pay
The price you see is close to the price you pay. One service fee, VSK already included, and deposits that are holds rather than charges.
A 5% service fee
Added once at checkout on the items subtotal, not per item. It funds support, secure payments and the platform.
VSK is already included
Icelandic VAT is inside every displayed price (11% on stays, 24% on cars, tours and activities), so there is no tax added at the end.
Deposits are holds, not charges
Where a deposit applies (mostly vehicles), it is shown on the listing before you book and released after return, not taken as a payment.
Charged in Icelandic krona
Prices shown in EUR or USD are live estimates. Your card is charged in krona and your bank does the final conversion.
What hosts keep
One commission per booking, taken from the host side. No listing fee, no monthly fee.
Commission by category
15% on cars and stays, 20% on tours and activities, taken from the item total. The table below states each rate.
What commission covers
Payments, payouts, traveler support, vouchers and VSK invoices, calendar sync and the damage-claims workflow.
Payout timing
Payouts reach your Icelandic IBAN on the schedule you choose: on check-in, on completion, or weekly. Each is itemized against its booking.
VSK is yours to remit
The price you set includes VSK. Your earnings page and VSK invoices break out the tax so your bookkeeping is straightforward.
