Cancellation & Refund Policy

Per-listing policies
Every listing carries one of four cancellation policies, shown before you book and on your voucher:
- Flexible: full refund until shortly before the start time.
- Moderate: full refund up to a few days before; partial refund after.
- Strict: partial refund only for cancellations well in advance.
- Non-refundable: a discounted price in exchange for no refund.
The exact cut-offs and percentages are printed on each listing. When you cancel, the platform calculates the refund from the policy automatically and shows you the amount before you confirm.
When the host cancels
If a host cancels your booking (for any reason, including weather-dependent tours) you always choose between a full refund and a free rebooking. Host cancellations never cost you money.
Booking requests
Declined or expired booking requests are refunded in full, automatically.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go to the original payment method. Once processed, banks typically take 5 to 10 business days to post the amount. Refunds are issued in ISK; your bank converts at its own rate, so small currency differences can occur on foreign cards.
Complaints
If something on site materially differed from the listing, document it, contact the host first, and escalate to PickNord support with your booking reference within 48 hours of the start of the service. Our team can issue partial or full refunds where justified.
