Role
PickNord operates the marketplace connecting travelers with independent Icelandic hosts. The travel services themselves (rentals, stays, tours and activities) are provided by the host named on your booking, as described in the Terms of Service.
Supervision and dispute resolution
- Consumer matters: Neytendastofa, the Icelandic Consumer Agency.
- Data protection: Persónuvernd, the Icelandic Data Protection Authority.
- Tourism operations: Ferðamálastofa, the Icelandic Tourist Board.
Disputes are governed by Icelandic law with venue in Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. EU and EEA consumers may also use the European ODR platform.
