Payment and protection
The price you see is close to the price you pay. Everything settles in Icelandic krona, and prices already include VAT.

Prices shown in EUR or USD are live estimates. Your card is charged in krona, and your bank does the final conversion.
Deposits explained upfront
Where a deposit applies (mostly vehicles), the amount and how the hold works are shown on the listing before you book. See the deposits policy for the full detail.
VSK included
Icelandic VAT is already in the displayed price, so there is no tax surprise at the end of checkout.
One 5% service fee
A single service fee is added on the items subtotal at checkout. The fees page shows exactly how it adds up, on both sides.
Cancellation, in plain language
Every listing shows its cancellation policy before you pay, and cancelling shows your refund before you confirm.
Flexible
Free cancellation up to a short window before the start, then a partial or no refund after that.
Moderate
Free cancellation up to a longer notice period, with a clear cut-off shown on the listing.
Strict or non-refundable
Lower prices in exchange for little or no refund. Always labeled before you book, never a surprise.
If the host cancels
You choose a full refund or a free rebooking, including weather cancellations of tours. It never costs you.

Can I book a car, a stay, and tours together?
Yes. That is the point of one cart and one checkout. You pay once, and each item gets its own confirmation and voucher.
Are prices final, or do fees get added later?
Prices are shown in Icelandic krona with VAT included. Any deposit or optional extra is shown on the listing before you pay.
What happens if the weather cancels my tour?
The operator cancels when it is unsafe, and you choose a full refund or a free move to another departure. Host cancellations never cost you money.
